This issue is a spoof on the Fox TV series, The X-Files, and features three linked stories (The Y-Files, Sheep! and Little Green Mice), all written by Dave King. The cover artist was Miran Kim and the wraparound story (The Y-Files) was drawn by Charlie Adlard, both then responsible for the Topps Comics licensed title of The X-Files. During the first story two villains are named Doctor Morgan & Professor Wong, referring to Glen Morgan & James Wong (producers/writers of The X-Files TV show). At the conclusion of the wraparound story, however, the true villains are revealed to be writer King (seen writing the characters into the script, presumably from his home) and editors Robert Graff and Katie Main (seen in a vast, vault-like script room, in a visual nod to the closing shot of the movie 'Raiders of the Lost Ark').
